As a substitute teacher, you will be an important part of the organization and contribute to creating a safe, educational, and positive environment for students during school hours and at the after-school program. Job Responsibilities As a substitute teacher, you may work both at school and in the after-school program. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the organization's needs and may include: Supporting and guiding students during lessons according to plans from regular staff. Being a trusted adult in the classroom and during breaks. Participating in and leading activities at the after-school program. Contributing to a good learning environment and positive social climate. Collaborating with teachers, after-school educators, and other staff. Ensuring that the organization's routines and values are followed. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has a genuine interest in working with children and young people. Is responsible, flexible, and has good collaboration skills. Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Can create safe and positive relationships with students and colleagues. Has experience working in schools, after-school programs, or other activities for children and young people, which is a merit. Has pedagogical education or is currently studying pedagogy, teacher education, or similar, which is a merit. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
