Ölands UtvecklingsCenter is a small private company that operates a residential group home for girls, 7 beds, ages 14-18 who have social difficulties associated with mental health issues with or without NPF. The operations are located in Alunda, 3.6 miles east of Uppsala with good municipal connections to Uppsala. We have a holistic view of people and work according to CBT, MI with clarifying pedagogy, where predictability, manageability, and comprehensibility are the cornerstones. We place great emphasis on family/network work. Work areas/responsibilities: You will be part of the daily work with the young people, supporting them to follow their daily schedule, care work, accompanying them to doctor's visits, and participating in treatment work. This includes documenting, having conversations with the young people, and everything involved in maintaining a home. We would like to see that you have knowledge, interest, and experience working with girls in the mental health field. It is important that you are organized, humble, attentive, responsible, and able to work in groups and individually (able to take responsibility on your own) and have a pedagogical approach. Due to the nature of the work, we would like to see that you have documented experience working with young people, preferably "institutional experience." Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Evening, weekend, and on-call sleeping shifts are part of the position. Opportunities for scheduled substitute work are available.
