About the Operation We are now seeking temporary care workers/nursing assistants for Department 95 in Säter for service during day, evening, night, and weekend shifts with the possibility of also working on Department 90. The General Psychiatric Clinic Falun & Säter has a regional mandate within adult psychiatry with the primary task of caring for and treating patients in acute psychiatric conditions. The clinic's operations are located in both Säter and Falun. In Säter, there is the region's only psychiatric emergency department as well as Departments 90 and 95. In Falun, there are a dependency center, a general psychiatric department, a clinic for eating disorders, and an ECT clinic. Department 90 in Säter has 10 care beds and is the region's only psychiatric intensive care unit with high staffing around the clock. Patients with serious psychiatric symptoms are cared for here, where there is a risk that the patient may harm themselves or others. Care is often provided with support from the Psychiatric Care Act (LPT). Department 95 in Säter is a general psychiatric department with 14 care beds for patients with various psychiatric diagnoses in a calmer phase of their treatment. Patients are cared for according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) or the Psychiatric Care Act (LPT). On both departments, doctors, nurses, and care workers work together in teams with a patient-centered approach. Our security procedures are clear, well-established, and an important part of daily work. As a temporary employee, you will be an important part of the operation and contribute to safe and quality care for our patients. Job Responsibilities As a care worker, you work closely with patients and contribute to daily care and treatment based on each individual's needs and conditions. Job responsibilities include nursing care, support conversations, documentation, specimen collection, participation in round meetings, and involvement in various group activities. Service in the patient kitchen is also part of the work. The role also includes transporting patients to and from examinations and other medical appointments. These are carried out using the facility's leased vehicle and always together with additional care staff to ensure safety and security for both patients and employees. Qualifications We are looking for someone interested in working with care and treatment services for patients with serious psychiatric symptoms in the acute phase. You should have good cooperation skills, be flexible and take initiative, and want to work in a team where the patient is a natural member. We place great importance on personal suitability. Requirements: - You are trained as a care worker or nursing assistant who has completed the Care and Support Program or the Care and Support vocational package in adult education. - You have ongoing training as a nursing assistant in the Care and Support Program or the Care and Support vocational package in adult education. - You have ongoing nursing education and have completed term 4. - It is desirable that you have a B-class driver's license.
