WORK TASKS We have six specialized housing facilities for seniors located in Sala and Västerfärnebo. We work with person-centered care where residents' wishes and needs are in focus. It is enjoyable and social work where you need to be able to listen, show respect, and create a meaningful daily life. The work is varied and includes daily activities and time outdoors. In your work, you help people with care, dressing and undressing, hygiene, and assistance with meals. The work includes medical care on delegation from a nurse. QUALIFICATIONS You must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment You should have the ability to receive delegation from a nurse, which means you should administer medication or provide medical care. In some operations, delegation is a requirement. You need to be able to speak, write, and understand Swedish because documentation and communication are important parts of the work. You need to be able to use computers, iPad, and iPhone. Good physical health. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. MERITS Upper secondary education in healthcare and care program or children and leisure program Care experience Language skills in addition to Swedish Competence in various methods/approaches, such as dementia/AAC/MI, etc. Driver's license B and access to your own car. This means that as a nursing assistant you need to apply for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare and present it to your employer in order to be called a nursing assistant.
