What does the job as a nursing assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care entail?
A nursing assistant at Norlandia is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their professional role and enjoys meeting people in different situations. Together with the nurse, rehabilitation staff, and manager, we collaborate around the resident to provide a good life every day.
We are looking for you with a genuine interest in elderly people, where your main duties are to provide safe and secure personal care. You support the resident in their daily life and create conditions for a safe and meaningful everyday. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing residents with good quality care in accordance with what has been agreed with the resident in the implementation plan.
This includes, among other things:
Work as a contact person based on Norlandia's concept Your Day.
Personal care and support, and utilize residents' own resources.
Work based on Norlandia's concept Tasty Meal so that our residents appreciate the food and meal experiences add a special touch to everyday life.
Document according to the Social Services Act; maintain social records and create and follow up implementation plans.
Plan, offer and implement daily activities, outdoor time, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individual and group activities.
Perform service tasks such as apartment cleaning, laundry, assistance with outings and shopping, etc.
Receive and perform delegated work tasks, such as medication administration.
Take responsibility in ombudsman roles.
Actively participate in the facility's quality and improvement work.

You must provide proof of your right to use the professional title nursing assistant from Socialstyrelsen (National Board of Health and Welfare).
It is advantageous if you have previous experience in care.
You need good knowledge of documentation.
You must have strong Swedish language skills in both speech and writing.
We would appreciate it if you have good computer skills/experience.
We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations.
Other Information
Employment type: Temporary position
We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Before a potential employment, you must be able to provide a police clearance certificate. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by providing proof of EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work permit.
