WORK TASKS Do you want a meaningful assignment where you contribute daily to security and independence for women exposed to violence and their children? Do you thrive in a role that requires both professional courage, structure, and warm treatment? Women's House offers protected housing and qualified support to women exposed to violence, with or without children, and in some cases also women with concurrent substance abuse issues. The assignment is about creating security here and now but also about providing long-term support so the woman can build an independent and secure life. The role includes, among other things: • Receive and provide protection and support to women exposed to violence and their children • Conduct risk assessments and work structurally with safety planning • Provide crisis and support conversations and work toward increased independence • Document continuously in Journal Digital • Provide practical support and cooperate with other authorities and actors With us you get a qualified and socially important assignment where you make a concrete difference in people's lives. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is confident, responsible, and committed to working with vulnerable women and children. You have a professional and ethical approach and the ability to handle difficult situations with calm and judgment. The role requires flexibility and the ability to switch between support conversations, practical support, and documentation. You work independently but also thrive in a team and in cooperation with other actors. You are solution-oriented, structured, and have the courage to make decisions in complex situations. We see that you have: • At least two years of post-secondary education, such as treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, social worker, or other equivalent education • Experience working in the social field • Experience working with women in vulnerable situations • Class B driver's license for manual transmission cars It would be great if you have: • Experience working with women with harmful use and addiction • Experience working with mental health issues • Experience conducting support conversations with vulnerable people • Knowledge of and experience with risk assessment instruments such as FREDA and PATRIARK • Arabic language skills We particularly welcome female applicants as the work involves creating security for women exposed to violence.
