About the position
As a temporary employee within LSS, you provide support based on each person's individual needs, wishes, and implementation plan. The work is built on respect for the individual's self-determination and aims to create conditions for an independent and meaningful life.
Depending on which activity you work in, you can support both children, youth, and adults with disabilities. The work tasks vary but always focus on the individual's security, participation, and development. Common work tasks may include:
Provide support in daily activities and personal care based on individual needs,
Plan and implement activities together with the individual,
Document measures in social records according to applicable guidelines,
Collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals to create good support,
Contribute to a safe, structured, and developmental environment.

This is an ongoing expression of interest for temporary employment. As a temporary employee, you work as needed and working hours can be daytime, evening, weekends, night shifts, or on-call, depending on the activity's needs. All our activities are located in Sollentuna municipality.
Your profile
To succeed in the job, we see that you have:
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written,
Basic computer skills and can use email, Word, and activity management systems
It is advantageous if you are studying or have completed education in healthcare, care, pedagogy, or health and medical care. Particularly advantageous is training as a nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title, children's and leisure program, or post-secondary education in pedagogy, care, or health and medical care.
We also appreciate that you have knowledge of what LSS means and how the law's intentions are implemented in practice through self-determination and participation, experience working with people covered by LSS, or other experience from healthcare and care, experience with clarifying pedagogy and/or low-affective approach. It's also positive if you have knowledge of and experience working based on KASAM (sense of coherence). B-driver's license is also advantageous.

About the recruitment process
Before a possible employment, you must show an excerpt from the criminal record and suspicion register as well as valid photo identification. You are responsible for ordering the excerpt via the Police website.
