About Us
Humanoria Care and Support is the municipal service provider in Solna Stad. We are responsible for, among other things, group homes according to LSS. The target group for the activity is adults within LSS category 1. We are now seeking three temporary support assistants for group homes in Solna Stad.

What Does the Work Involve?
As a support assistant, your primary task is to work with the residents of the home, individually with each person, so that each individual feels involved and independent in their life. You do this by working methodically based on low-affective approaches and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
Each individual has an implementation plan that describes how the individual needs to receive support from you as the support provider. As a support assistant, work tasks include cleaning and laundry, delegated health and safety duties such as medication management, cooking, personal care, assistance with meals, accompaniment during travel and leisure activities such as swimming, exercise, and music. Work tasks also include administrative duties such as writing journal notes in individuals' records and booking transportation services.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for you who have
completed education from a children and youth program or completed education as a nurse assistant
experience working in LSS-regulated homes
good communication skills and can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish
good computer skills and are a quick learner with new programs.
It is advantageous if you have
experience with methodological work such as low-affective approaches, alternative and augmentative communication, and other clarifying pedagogy
other education within care and support or social work.
As a person, you are stable, self-driven, and enjoy relationship-building work. You carry out your work with great care and are perceived as a trustworthy person. In the role of support assistant, it is important to be empathetic, flexible, and have good communication skills. You need to be able to take initiative, be solution-oriented, and work well in a group and enjoy collaborating with your colleagues.
More Information About the Application
The position is a fixed-term employment with start date by agreement. The work is scheduled during day, evening, and on-call shifts throughout all days of the week, which means weekend service is included in the position.
