About the Operation Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Region Dalarna offers specialist care for children and young people up to 18 years old with moderate to severe mental health issues. Our scope of operations is broad and encompasses mental health issues common in children from the newborn period through the end of adolescence. We work in a multidisciplinary manner to provide the best assessments and care for our children and young people. BUP Region Dalarna consists of five outpatient clinics and our regional joint operations: ward 68 for inpatient care and an emergency team, a family therapy unit, and an eating disorder unit. We are now seeking several licensed psychologists who wish to work on a temporary contract basis with a focus on neuropsychiatric assessments within child and adolescent psychiatry. Duties Your responsibilities: - Independently conduct the psychological component of neuropsychiatric assessments - Compile, interpret, and analyze test results - Collaborate with other professionals in the team and actively contribute to diagnostic and differential diagnostic discussions - Write reports and participate in feedback sessions with children/young people, guardians, schools, and other cooperation partners Qualifications Requirements: - Licensed psychologist - Minimum three (3) years of experience with neuropsychiatric assessments of children and young people - Strong competence in neuropsychiatric testing and assessment methodology - Competency and experience using assessment instruments such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R - Solid knowledge of ADHD, autism, intellectual disability, and broad psychiatric differential diagnostics - Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written - Good references for neuropsychiatric assessment work completed in the past year Meritorious: - Specialist psychologist in clinical child and adolescent psychology, neuropsychology, and/or disability psychology Application This position involves direct and regular contact with children and/or young people.
