What does the job as a nursing assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?
A nursing assistant/care worker at Norlandia is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their professional role and enjoys meeting people in various situations. Together in a team with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we collaborate around the resident to provide a good life every day.
We are looking for you with a genuine interest in elderly people, where your main tasks are to provide safe and secure personal care and support. You support the resident in their daily life and create conditions for a safe and meaningful everyday routine. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing residents with good quality care in accordance with what has been agreed with the resident in the care plan.
This includes, among other things:
Personal care and support, and utilizing the resident's own resources.
Work based on Norlandia's concept "Tasty Meal" so that our residents appreciate the food and the meal experience adds special value to their daily life.
Document according to the Social Services Act; maintain social records and establish and follow up care plans.
Plan, offer, and implement daily activities, outdoor time, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individual and group activities.
Perform service tasks such as cleaning the apartment, washing clothes, accompanying residents, shopping, and more.
Receive and perform delegated tasks such as, for example, medication delegation.
About Vidhöge Elderly Care Home
Vidhöge äldreboende is a small somatic care facility on the ground floor with 20 apartments divided into two units. The elderly care home is located in Veddige, next to a health center and pharmacy.

You must speak Swedish well in both speech and writing.
We would like you to have good computer skills/experience.

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews take place on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Before a possible employment, you must be able to provide an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by providing proof that you have EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work permit.
