Your New Job Östersunds municipality operates several youth recreation centers on evenings and weekends for young people from grade 7 and up. Each recreation center has 3-4 dedicated and skilled recreation leaders. Together we work to create active and meaningful leisure time for the municipality's children and youth. We are primarily looking for you who want to work evenings and weekends! Working hours on weekdays 17:45-21:15 and Friday and Saturday 18:45 – 23:15. To work as an hourly employee with us, flexibility and availability for short-term assignments and the ability to adapt to different work environments are required. You don't need to be formally trained to work as an hourly employee, but it's an advantage if you have experience working with children and young people. We are looking for someone who has: A strong interest in contributing to children's and youth development, and enjoys working with people and building relationships. You should be able to have boundary-setting conversations and have the ability to create a pleasant atmosphere in a room full of young people of all kinds.
