The supervision function provides Försäkringskassan and its leadership with operational insights into how different parts of the authority function in practice, why they function as they do, and what opportunities exist to strengthen operations. The role of supervision manager gives a unique opportunity to create a comprehensive picture of Försäkringskassan's operations and contribute to the development of one of Sweden's most important public functions.

The supervision function complements the authority's other monitoring and control functions through a forward-looking, learning-oriented, and operationally close approach. Together with employees and managers, we identify keys to strengthen the authority's ability to implement and develop operations.
We are now seeking one or possibly several supervision managers for this function. You have a genuine interest and commitment to Försäkringskassan, social insurance, and Försäkringskassan's mission. You share the supervision function's approach and contribute to a positive, unpretentious, and developmental work environment.
Responsibilities and Tasks
As a supervision manager, you are responsible for leading and/or conducting supervision initiatives in Försäkringskassan's operations in collaboration with your team colleagues and those participating from operations. You act based on the state value foundation and the supervision function's approach. The supervision function systematically applies the same method in all supervisions conducted. The method enables supervisions to systematically address the supervision's purpose, working method, and ambition level.
Work Tasks
Plan and implement supervision initiatives from start to finish in collaboration with the relevant operations.
Gather knowledge through development and distribution of questionnaires.
Conduct and lead dialogues with managers and employees in different parts of the authority.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative materials.
Coordinate and compile observed findings, their connections, and keys to address improvement needs, conclusions, and situation assessments.
Present situation assessment results and keys to managers and leadership.
Contribute to the development of the supervision function's working methods and approaches.

We are looking for you who
has a university degree or experience/qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
has the ability to both lead and participate in different team configurations with a clear sense of direction for the supervision initiative's purpose and goals
has very good collaboration skills and can create and maintain good relationships
can contribute constructively to teamwork through a holistic perspective, mutual learning, support, and encouragement
has good communicative skills, both in writing and verbally, which can be applied in a pedagogical, target-group-adapted way
has good analytical skills and sound judgment
is results-oriented and can proactively take initiative and responsibility
is quality-conscious, thorough, and works in a structured manner
has the ability to take both a strategic perspective and translate it into action.
It is advantageous if you
have experience in project/assignment management
have management/leadership experience
have experience with similar assignments
have experience in operational development
have good insight into Försäkringskassan's operations, governance, and the role of civil servants.

Other Information
Employment is permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. Probation may be applicable. Placement in Stockholm (Telefonplan). Other placement location is possible. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive activities. To be employed in such a position, approved security vetting is required according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). In this recruitment, work psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process.
