About the Role As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play an important role in the development and quality assurance of complex embedded and infotainment systems in automotive. You will develop, maintain, and run automated tests using Python and PyTest, as well as work with functional tests, unit tests, and regression tests. A central part of the role is integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring smooth test runs, monitoring, and reporting. You will work in a Linux environment and use tools such as Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins for version control, code reviews, and automated processes. You will also work with automotive communication protocols such as CAN and Ethernet, as well as tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, and CAPL for simulation and analysis. Together with development teams working in areas such as Android Automotive OS, you will contribute to ensuring high quality and stability throughout the product's development cycle. The role involves significant individual responsibility where you identify and solve problems, develop test strategies, and continuously improve automated test frameworks to increase test coverage, efficiency, and overall product quality. We Are Looking for You You have experience in test automation and developing automated tests. You have strong knowledge of Python, preferably with PyTest experience. You have experience with unit testing, functional testing, and regression testing. You understand CI/CD and how automated tests are integrated into pipelines. You have experience working with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins. You are comfortable working in a Linux environment. You have knowledge of infotainment and embedded systems. You have knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN and Ethernet. You have experience with or knowledge of CANoe, CANalyzer, and CAPL. You hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant field. You have strong analytical skills and enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving. You are organized, thorough, and accustomed to taking responsibility for quality and delivery. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It's a Plus If You Have experience with Android Automotive OS, deeper knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet, and previous experience developing and optimizing automated test frameworks.
