Jūrmala Municipality Police (Reg. No. 90000056554) invites a Senior Telecommunications Engineer (profession classifier 2153 01) to join the team. Main job responsibilities: • Develop and maintain the city's outdoor video surveillance/monitoring systems, ensure the operation of the Municipal Police support information systems; • Develop a video monitoring system development concept; • Participate in the evaluation of technical solutions and procurement procedures; • Perform installation, setup, commissioning, and configuration of systems and components. Requirements for candidates: • Higher education in telecommunications/IT; • Knowledge/skills in IP video and video streaming technologies; • Ability to apply current technologies and software in telecommunications and data transmission system design processes; • Experience working with network infrastructure equipment and technologies (Ethernet, IP routing, LTE); • Experience in IP camera network design and configuration; • Experience in video surveillance data transmission; • Group B certificate in electrical safety; • Desired: Category B driver's license; • State language proficiency at C1 level and English language proficiency in the field of specialization.
