We are now seeking an employee for the Region's Switchboard and future Contact Center. The recruitment concerns 1 telephone operator/receptionist position. The function currently consists of a total of 9 employees. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES The Region's Switchboard is a function within the Service Unit. You are responsible for answering customers' inquiries with the highest quality and service level via various contact channels such as telephone, email, and in-person at the counter. The Region's Switchboard also handles a number of administrative services and staffs the large Hospital Reception and the Reception in the Region's House. The work is varied and first-class service is essential. Examples of work duties: · Answer incoming calls · Transfer and route calls · Information search internally and externally · Conduct on-call personnel searches · Route or resolve tasks and provide service to employees and citizens · Receive and check in visitors As the operation develops, assignments and work duties will be adapted according to needs and demand. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with solid service experience from call centers, customer service, or similar operations and with documented experience in information and service work via telephone and digital tools. You are accustomed to searching for information in external and internal systems as well as via the internet. Solving problems or finding information through new systems is a challenge that you are happy to take on. Stress tolerance and a solution-oriented mindset are essential as the work periodically maintains a fast pace. The work requires that you have the ability to vary your tempo and shift between quick service, information retrieval, and problem-solving depending on incoming volume. You should also be comfortable providing support and guiding others in various digital environments. Good language skills in Swedish and English and good ability to handle these languages in speech and writing are necessary. To thrive with the work tasks, you need an attentive and accommodating approach. A genuine interest and willingness to help and guide people are required. Providing service and always putting the customer at the center should be natural to you. In the position, you will become familiar with and follow applicable laws, guidelines, and procedures and have an understanding of public disclosure and confidentiality rules. You need to be comfortable working in an organization where change and development are part of everyday life. Your demeanor is positive and clearly combined with problem-solving ability. We are looking for someone who is flexible, has patience, and shows understanding for each unique customer situation. We work in teams and consider good collaboration skills, great responsibility-taking, and punctuality important. We work with many different types of assignments in a combination of customer service and administrative tasks. For efficiency, a good understanding of Region Jämtland Härjedalen's organization as a whole and a sense of prioritization are required. Employees within the Region's Switchboard/Contact Center are expected to actively participate in and drive the development of the operation and examine processes and flows with a critical eye. When needed, we cover for each other and work across boundaries within the Service Unit. High school qualification with an administrative focus is a merit. Experience from equivalent work is required. Great weight will be placed on your personal qualities. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months, expires: 2026-12-31.
