Svenska Neoplan and Lion's Trucks are currently in the midst of a major transformation where electrified vehicles are the new normal! Svenska Neoplan has, at the time of writing, delivered over 800 fully electric buses in Sweden. They have also delivered their first fully electric truck - MAN eTruck! We are now looking for you who are passionate about educating and inspiring others to succeed in vehicle technology. We also see that you want to strengthen our creative team and contribute to the ongoing development work! About the role as Technical Trainer You will become part of a creative and engaged team called Service & Support consisting of fifteen wonderful colleagues, but you will work most closely with our two existing technical trainers and our Market Training Manager. Your main focus will be to deliver high-quality and engaging theoretical and practical training. You will be involved in designing, developing, and improving our training concept with a focus on creating learning outcomes. You care about quality and constantly strive for satisfied participants who achieve the training's objectives. In this role, you will • Be involved in planning upcoming training sessions • Participate in "Train the Trainer" sessions, usually virtually or in-person in Germany • Prepare, develop, and improve your own course materials based on MAN's literature • Conduct technical training throughout the country at our own workshops, our authorized partners, and our customers We are looking for someone who has • The ability to work independently with support from management and colleagues • Deep technical knowledge with extensive experience as a technician/mechanic in the automotive industry • A pedagogical understanding and the ability to adapt your way of communicating messages/information • A strong drive, are outgoing and have an easy time communicating with people • Interest in developing course materials, exercises, and methods in our training programs • Previous experience in automotive technical training (mentoring, coaching, training) • Good computer skills and self-sufficiency in the Office suite - PowerPoint is no problem for you • Ability to speak and write fluently in Swedish and English (German is a merit) • Category B driver's license (merit to have Category C and/or D) As a person, you are pedagogical and have a good ability to explain and adapt your way of communicating based on different situations and individuals. You are humble in your approach, structured in your work methods, and flexible when circumstances change. With a strong service focus, you always strive to build good relationships and deliver high quality.
