Today we are a small team within the training unit, and we see a growing need to strengthen our capacity with additional expertise. Here you will have the opportunity to influence work methods, training programs, and future structure together with an engaged and technically skilled team. About the Role As a technical trainer, you will work broadly with technical training for both internal employees and external customers. You are responsible for planning, conducting, and further developing training related to the company's products and systems. The role is both practical and pedagogical, where you combine technical understanding with the ability to create engaging and clear training programs. You will have many internal contact points, including with development, designers, test engineers, and production. The work also includes some support in troubleshooting, support, and product demonstrations. Training is often directed at technically experienced participants, such as technical officers, using "train the trainer" formats. There are significant opportunities to influence the role and contribute to how the operation should develop. The position is located in Karlskoga. Travel occurs, primarily within Sweden but also internationally on certain occasions. Approximately 30 travel days per year, as it stands today. You will, among other things: - Plan and conduct technical training for internal and external target groups - Develop, update, and adapt training materials and exercises - Conduct training needs analyses (TNA) together with the Training Manager - Contribute to the development and improvement of training and exercise programs - Coordinate activities for training, such as booking facilities and materials - Follow up and evaluate completed training - Support operations with testing, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and technical handling - Review technical documentation and contribute improvement suggestions - Ensure that training is conducted according to applicable rules and safety regulations Qualifications - Experience working as a trainer, instructor, or similar role - Good technical understanding and interest in complex technical systems and products - Ability to translate technical information into pedagogical training - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written - Experience creating or developing training materials is a merit - Valid driver's license (Category B) Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is communicative, pedagogical, and comfortable presenting to groups. You have a technical interest and enjoy explaining complex concepts in a clear and engaging way. To succeed in this role, you need to be self-driven, take initiative, and work well with different functions within the organization. You are flexible and appreciate a varied workday where you can combine practical technical work with training and development.
