Technical Maintenance Manager – Roofing & Waterproofing
Svensk Byggstandard AB is looking for a technically skilled and driven person who wants to take responsibility for maintenance, inspections, and planning of roofs.
We are a growing company in the roofing industry and are now seeking a technical maintenance manager for roofing and waterproofing. This role is ideal for someone with experience from the roofing industry who wants to take the next step from hands-on work to a more technical and responsible position.
About the Role
As a technical maintenance manager, you will work with our existing and new customers to help them create long-term and cost-effective solutions for their roofs.
Your work will include:
Performing roof inspections and condition assessments
Identifying damage, deficiencies, and future maintenance needs
Documenting roof condition with photos and reports
Establishing maintenance plans and action proposals
Maintaining contact with property owners, condominium associations, and businesses
Planning and following up on service and maintenance work
Preparing quotes and cost estimates
Following up on completed work and ensuring quality
Providing technical advice on roofing, waterproofing, metal sheets, and roof drainage
Working preventatively to extend roof lifespan
Who Are We Looking For?
We are primarily looking for someone with practical experience from the roofing industry and a good understanding of how different roof constructions work.
You may have worked as a roofer, work supervisor, project manager, inspector, or in property maintenance.
We would like to see knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Roofing felt and waterproofing membranes
Tile and concrete roof tiles
Metal roofing and sealing tape
Roof drainage systems
Roof safety
Moisture, leaks, and damage assessment
Maintenance and renovation of existing roofs
You need to be able to work independently, take responsibility, and be comfortable with customer contact.
A Class B driver's license is required.
Basic computer skills are important, as part of the work involves documentation, reporting, cost calculations, and customer communication.
