Technical Tester App We are now seeking an experienced Technical Tester for an exciting consulting assignment at Trafikförvaltningen within Region Stockholm. The assignment focuses on quality assurance of the SL app as well as the websites sl.se and waxholmsbolaget.se. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality in digital services used by hundreds of thousands of travelers every day. You will work closely with developers, product owners, UX designers, and other stakeholders in an agile team. The assignment is full-time starting December 1, 2026 and runs through November 30, 2027. Work will be conducted both on-site in Stockholm and remotely according to agreement. About the Company Trafikförvaltningen within Region Stockholm is responsible for the development, operation, and management of public transportation in the region. Nearly one million trips are completed daily by bus, subway, commuter train, local trains, and ferry services. The IT department plays a central role in developing modern digital services that contribute to attractive, sustainable, and accessible public transportation. About the Role As a Technical Tester, you will be part of the Passenger-Centric Services section, which is responsible for digital services directed toward passengers, transportation operators, and partners. You will work with manual testing of real user flows in mobile apps and web applications, with a focus on quality, usability, and accessibility. The role involves significant independent responsibility and requires strong analytical skills, initiative, and a structured work approach. You will work in complex system environments with many integrations and dependencies. Responsibilities Plan, conduct, and follow up on tests throughout the entire test process. Perform requirements analysis and identify risk areas. Develop test design and test cases based on business requirements. Conduct manual testing of user flows in mobile apps and websites. Perform API and integration testing. Report, verify, and follow up on bugs. Conduct release verification prior to production deployment. Perform accessibility testing in accordance with WCAG and DIGG guidelines. Work with network traffic analysis and troubleshooting in test environments. Collaborate with developers, product owners, UX designers, and other stakeholders. Contribute to continuous quality assurance of travel planning and booking services. Required Competencies 1. A minimum of five (5) years of documented work experience in quality assurance of mobile applications for both Android and iOS. 2. A minimum of three (3) years of work experience within the last five (5) years in independently planning, conducting, and following up on testing work throughout the entire test process. Experience should include requirements analysis, test design, test execution, bug reporting, and release verification. 3. A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in API and integration testing. Experience should include working with API testing tools, API documentation, and network traffic analysis, such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Charles Proxy, or equivalent tools. 4. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in accessibility testing in accordance with WCAG and DIGG guidelines. Experience should include use of VoiceOver and TalkBack. 5. A minimum of three (3) years of documented work experience working in cross-functional development teams, including collaboration with developers, designers, and product owners. 6. A minimum of one (1) year of work experience within the last five (5) years working in modern development and test environments with tools for test management, issue tracking, and version control, such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Git/Bitbucket, or equivalent. Value-Added Competencies 1. A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in test automation of mobile applications. 2. A minimum of two (2) years of work experience with both Charles Proxy and Swagger. 3. Experience from at least one (1) assignment lasting at least twelve (12) months in testing payment flows in mobile applications, for example payment cards, Swish, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. 4. Experience from at least one (1) assignment of at least twelve (12) months where exploratory testing comprised a substantial part of the testing work.
