About the Assignment We are now seeking a technical writer for an established documentation team in Arboga. You will be part of a team of seven technical writers working closely with systems engineers, project managers, and other technical specialists to ensure that documentation maintains high quality and stays up to date. The assignment primarily involves creating new technical documentation related to advanced products and customer projects. The focus is on producing clear and structured user manuals, maintenance instructions, and other technical documentation for complex technical systems. Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: * Create and maintain technical documentation * Develop user manuals and maintenance instructions * Work with XML to structure and manage technical information * Work with UpTime to ensure high availability and reliability of our systems * Ensure that documentation complies with S1000D standards * Produce and translate technical documentation in Swedish and English * Collaborate with systems engineers, project managers, and other technical experts to gather and quality-assure information We are Looking for Someone With * Experience with XML * At least 3-7 years of full-time experience in technical documentation * Good technical understanding and ability to grasp complex products and systems * Excellent written communication skills in both Swedish and English * Swedish citizenship Meritorious * Experience with S1000D * Experience with UpTime or similar documentation platform * Experience with CDMS * Background in defense industry, telecommunications, automotive industry, or other technically advanced operations * Experience with communication systems, radio systems, or similar products Personal Qualities To thrive in this role, we see that you are: * Solution-oriented and take initiative * Independent but also a team player * Structured and quality-conscious * Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with varying workload * Curious and driven to find information and move work forward Location: Arboga Hybrid work: Opportunity to work from home up to two days per week Start: As soon as possible Assignment duration: February, with good possibility for extension Interested?
