Technical Project Manager for International Vehicle Industry

We are now seeking a technical project manager for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in Linköping – a global player in the development and production of advanced thermal management solutions for the heavy vehicle industry. Here you will have a central role in the development of components and technical solutions for the vehicles of the future, working with technologies related to electrification, hydrogen, and diesel. We are looking for someone who is a real doer – a project manager who takes ownership, creates structure, and most importantly, makes sure things happen. About the Assignment As a technical project manager, you will lead development projects through the entire project cycle – from planning and development to validation and delivery. You are responsible for creating momentum and ensuring that projects meet their objectives regarding time, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction. You will be the hub in cross-functional project teams and work closely with specialists in development, quality, process, procurement, and production. The role involves significant personal responsibility and is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical understanding with leadership, structure, and business acumen. You will, among other things: Define project objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams Drive projects forward and follow up on activities and deliverables Ensure efficient use of resources and budgets Identify and manage risks, deviations, and action plans Drive customer dialogues and ensure technical and commercial execution Take responsibility for financial tracking within projects We Are Looking for Someone Who Has Relevant engineering degree at bachelor's level or higher At least 5 years of experience with project management in manufacturing industry Experience leading complex technical projects and cross-functional teams Good financial understanding and experience with budget and project tracking Very good knowledge of English Experience from the vehicle industry is strongly meriting. Meriting It is also meriting if you have experience or knowledge in any of the following: IATF APQP and established working methods within the vehicle industry Technical and commercial phase validations Matlab, Smartsheet, MS Project, Catia, and/or SAP Swedish in speech and writing Who We Are Looking For To succeed in this role, we believe you are driven, structured, and solution-oriented.
