Senior Technical Project Manager – IT Infrastructure & Datacenter
For an organization in the public sector, we are seeking a senior technical project manager for an assignment focused on modernizing IT infrastructure. The assignment involves leading the consolidation of datacenter environments, with emphasis on standardization, security, operational reliability, and cost-effectiveness. This is a complex change program with many dependencies across infrastructure, applications, network, security, operations teams, and external vendors, within a mission-critical healthcare environment.
Your Assignment
Plan, coordinate, and lead the consolidation of existing datacenter environments
Drive a technical change program with multiple dependencies and stakeholders
Coordinate infrastructure, applications, network, and security across the project
Manage collaboration with external operations vendors and internal clients
Required Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience as a technical project manager
At least 5 years of experience in the public sector
Experience in healthcare environments
Experience in mission-critical operations
Experience with datacenter projects or transformation initiatives
Experience working with external operations vendors
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructures
High-level competency (equivalent to level 4), with at least 9 to 12 years of experience in the field and ability to take primary responsibility for leading larger teams
Meritorious
Documented experience leading AD migration projects, but not required
Experience with projects impacting operations at an acute care hospital, but not required
Experience with IT workplace platforms in organizations or agencies with at least 1,000 employees, but not required
Certification in ITIL or equivalent in Service Management, but not required
📍 Scope: 40 hours per week, equivalent to full-time
📍 Location: Company, hybrid work with up to 50 percent remote
📍 Assignment period: October 19, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with possibility of extension once for 6 months
