Your new position
You will join the Process & Facilities unit at our Västerås office and work on qualified assignments within heat and cooling production. The assignments are often related to district heating or district cooling systems but may also involve energy supply for industries. The assignments will range from feasibility studies and investigations to leading roles in implementation projects. As a leading consultant in district heating and district cooling, we are also engaged for specialist assignments such as facility valuations, due diligence, business project management, and R&D.
You will be assignment responsible, which means responsibility for both the assignment's execution and our business relationship with the client. At the same time, you will have access to a large number of competent colleagues as resources or sounding boards for your assignments, as at FVB we strive for a high degree of collaboration, both within and between groups and offices.
Your profile
We are looking for you—an engaged engineer with experience from projects in heat and cooling production, preferably as a consultant. You are accustomed to working in project form and enjoy collaborating to achieve project goals.
You have a civil or advanced engineering degree in mechanical engineering or another relevant engineering field, or equivalent post-secondary education. All experience from production facilities is a merit, such as mechanical design, process dimensioning, project experience, and operation and maintenance experience.

You speak Swedish well in both speech and writing and have good knowledge of English. A driver's license is a requirement as business travel occurs.
Employment form and recruitment process
The position is a permanent, full-time employment based at the headquarters in Västerås. Applications are handled continuously based on availability during the vacation period. Occupational psychological tests and background checks will be part of the selection process.
