About the Department/Unit In operations support, we continuously develop working methods, processes, and digital tools to create the best possible conditions for the university's education and research. The Team You will become part of a portfolio office and contribute together with your colleagues to preparing, developing, and prioritizing initiatives in KTH's IT portfolio. You will collaborate closely with other stakeholders. You will also be part of a cross-portfolio team with experienced IT leaders where there are excellent opportunities for knowledge sharing and skill development. Responsibilities In this role, you are responsible for independently leading both smaller and larger development and implementation projects with technical solutions in focus. You drive projects from planning through execution and are responsible for ongoing monitoring, reporting to steering committees and management, as well as evaluation and development of improvement measures. You also drive change initiatives and ensure clear communication and buy-in from affected operations. In this role, you will also: Coordinate and organize work between internal operations, technical teams, and external suppliers. Create conditions for effective project teams and well-functioning collaboration between involved parties. Plan, lead, and follow up on workshops and coordinate requirements management, including needs assessment and compliance. Qualifications Requirements Relevant academic education in IT or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways as assessed by the employer as equivalent. Several years of experience leading complex IT projects. Experience managing multiple parallel initiatives simultaneously. Good technical understanding of infrastructure, server operations, and larger IT environments. Ability to create structure and progress in complex contexts. Excellent communication skills and the ability to express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English in speech and writing, as required in daily work. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is proactive, goal-oriented, and persistent. You take responsibility for driving projects forward and ensuring high-quality results. The role requires good collaboration skills and the ability to build constructive relationships with different stakeholders to achieve common goals. Meritorious Experience with IT projects in public sector operations. Understanding of differences, opportunities, and limitations in cloud and on-premises environments. Knowledge of and experience with work according to LOU. Experience in supplier management and coordination between internal and external stakeholders. Experience leading work within requirements management, needs analysis, and business-focused change work. Knowledge of IT governance models and working methods such as ITIL and/or PM3.
