About the role
As a Technical Procurement Specialist, you will work as a consultant via Jefferson Wells for one of our customers - a leading player in the high-tech industry. The assignment is a staffing position with good opportunities to transition to direct employment with the customer over time.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of technology and procurement. You are an important part of ensuring correct article data and material selection, and serve as support to procurement professionals on technical issues related to suppliers and production conditions.
You will analyze technical documentation, manage material data in systems, and contribute to cost-effective procurement. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and procurement specialists across various projects.
You will report to the Section Manager for Technical Procurement.
Your main responsibilities
Create and maintain procurement articles in the material catalog
Ensure that mandatory attributes are correctly registered
Prepare and manage purchase requests based on system and project needs
Consolidate purchases to achieve cost-effective solutions
Procure materials for projects with long-term delivery plans (forecast purchasing)
Support procurement professionals with technical expertise in supplier negotiations
Contribute to collaboration between internal functions and project teams
Your profile

We are looking for someone with
3-8 years of experience in a relevant field
Very good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
It is an advantage if you have
Experience with spare parts procurement (technology and procurement)
Knowledge of different material types
Relevant educational background
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

In this role, you will have a broad network of contacts:
Internal: procurement specialists, engineers, technicians, project managers, materials planners, and others
External: suppliers and business partners
