About the role
As a Technical Facilities Manager, you will be our specialist in technical facilities management. You will play a key role in ensuring structured, long-term, and business-oriented technical management of Stena Fastigheter's property portfolio located in Malmö, Lund, Lomma, Bjärred, and Landskrona. You will be based at our Malmö office, organizationally part of the energy department, and report to the Energy Manager.
The role is strongly rooted in day-to-day work in the areas, and you are expected to regularly be on-site and alternate between the different management offices. You will be the one who brings together technical procedures, regulatory requirements, maintenance plans, and documentation, so that management receives clear support and technical risks decrease.
We are constantly working to make things smarter and simpler, including with the help of AI, and we hope that you are curious and enjoy testing new ways of working.
Some of your key responsibilities:
Responsible for creating structure, standards, and efficient procedures within technical facilities management
Serve as technical support and important sparring partner in the management organization
Be educational in your role and help raise competency levels in technical matters within the organization
Establish and follow up on maintenance plans (short-term and long-term)
Plan, budget, and forecast operating and maintenance costs
Lead and execute technical projects, such as renovations and reconstructions
Procure and coordinate contractors and suppliers
Ensure compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, and safety regulations
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in technical facilities management, operations, construction or installation projects, or a similar role in the real estate industry. You have a good understanding of building and installation technology and are accustomed to reading and interpreting technical drawings, descriptions, and inspection reports.
Most importantly, you are organized and analytical, enjoy creating order and long-term planning, and at the same time have the ability to make technical matters understandable for both property managers, facilities managers, and executives.
It is not a requirement that you can configure control and regulation systems yourself or perform advanced energy calculations – we have support available in the energy group.
We believe that you:
Have relevant technical education, for example in construction, HVAC, installation, or real estate technology, or equivalent work experience
Have worked with systems such as maintenance management systems, fault reporting systems, or asset registers
Are communicative and educational when working with different professional roles
Are action-oriented and persistent and follow up on issues all the way through to implementation and follow-up
Are business-minded and can connect technical measures to risk, customer benefit, and economics
