Your Responsibilities
As Technical Manager Parks & Grounds, you are responsible for long-term planning and development of park and ground areas. You work closely with the management and operations organization to initiate, investigate, and prepare maintenance and investment projects.
An important part of the role is to lead projects through the entire process, from needs analysis and planning to implementation and follow-up. You are responsible for budget, procurement, coordination, and quality assurance of contracts and project initiatives.
Your responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for long-term maintenance planning of park and ground environments.
- Initiate and drive maintenance and development projects.
- Prepare decision-making materials and technical investigations.
- Budget, plan, procure, and follow up on contracts and projects.
- Develop and create maintenance plans for park areas and tree stock.
- Conduct risk assessments of trees and propose measures.
- Ensure that management and projects are implemented with consideration for cultural heritage values and long-term sustainability.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you are a structured and driven person with solid experience in project management within parks, grounds, or property-related operations. You have a solution-oriented approach and enjoy coordinating multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
We see that you have:
- Class B driver's license.
- At least three years of experience working with tree stock, tree care, and risk tree assessment.
- At least three years of experience independently leading and driving projects.
- Excellent Swedish language skills, both oral and written.
- At least three years of experience with procurement under the Public Procurement Act (LOU).
- Good knowledge of laws, regulations, and regulations related to property owner responsibilities.
- Experience with construction contract law and application of relevant contract and industry regulations.
The assignment runs from October 2026 to October 2027.
The position is based in Stockholm and work is performed primarily on-site.
