Job Description
Help shape the future of hospital environments! As a technical manager, you work with advanced and societally critical facilities in technology-intensive projects where your expertise makes a real difference – every day.
As a technical manager for electrical and telecommunications, you have a central role in ensuring that the hospital's technical facilities are robust, safe, and sustainably sound. In this position, you are responsible for the management of electrical, telecommunications, and transport systems, such as UPS systems, backup power, switchgear, lighting installations, pneumatic mail systems, elevators, and lift tables.
You also work with long-term planning linked to these facilities, including the development, monitoring, and enhancement of maintenance and reinvestment plans. The role also includes establishing and maintaining system documentation and technical records.
The work involves close and operational collaboration with the operations organization and other technical managers. The assignment covers all hospital facilities within Hospital Properties NU, and travel within the Västra Götaland region will occur. The base location for this role is Uddevalla Hospital.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
A degree in engineering or other education and experience deemed equivalent
Experience working with building technical electrical systems
Authorization for electrical installations (AL)
B-class driver's license
Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish
Experience with budgeting and financial follow-up of maintenance measures is a merit. It is also a merit if you have experience independently driving smaller projects.

You are confident in making decisions within given parameters, work independently when needed, and are equally comfortable in dialogue with colleagues as in technical investigations.
