The work involves a mix of practical maintenance of heating and ventilation systems as well as analytical work monitoring energy consumption in our systems. If this sounds like the right challenge for you, then this position is for you! The Facilities Department is part of the Infrastructure and Building Administration in Tibro Municipality. The administration consists of the departments for facilities, streets/parks, operations, meals, planning and building. The Facilities Department manages approximately 90,000 m² and is responsible for leasing premises from external landlords. The largest portion of our owned properties are schools, but also include senior housing facilities, recreational facilities and a smaller indoor swimming pool. WORK DUTIES In this multifaceted role, you have primary responsibility for operational optimization, ongoing and periodic maintenance of the municipality's heating and ventilation systems as well as buildings. You also have the task of monitoring energy consumption in our property system and managing overarching systems for control and monitoring of heating and ventilation systems. Your work duties include: • Plan and carry out both emergency and planned maintenance measures. • Lead minor renovation projects from concept to completion, including procurement in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU). • Be the municipality's internal contact person towards tenants and handle inquiries, feedback and service matters in a professional and service-oriented manner. • Exercise work supervision and coordination for our operations technicians by organizing and distributing work tasks, following up ongoing efforts and ensuring that both ongoing and periodic maintenance is performed according to established routines and quality requirements. • Identify improvement opportunities and propose measures to actively contribute to the development of the municipality's real estate portfolio. Your commitment helps create safe, functional and adapted environments for tenants and operations. QUALIFICATIONS Your work duties are varied and involve many personal meetings. As we are a service organization, we place great emphasis on good social skills. The following qualifications are required: • University or college degree with a focus on, for example, building technology or HVAC (or another background deemed equivalent). • Good computer skills. • Ability to master Swedish at a good level in both speech and writing. • Class B driver's license. The following experience and knowledge are advantageous: • Experience from the construction and real estate industry. • Knowledge of procurement in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU). • Experience with property and monitoring systems. • Experience in work supervision. Salary form: Monthly salary. Type of employment: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement. Work hours: Daytime.
