Technical Property Manager at Willhem in Karlstad Do you want to work for sustainable properties and have knowledge and interest in property management and building technology? Willhem is taking action to upgrade its property portfolio, both operationally and technically, and is now looking for a technical property manager who wants to make a difference on our journey forward. Willhem Karlstad owns and manages almost 2,700 apartments today. The portfolio is located in scattered parts of Karlstad and consists of both new construction and older properties. As a technical property manager, you will work across our entire portfolio and operate from our area office in central Karlstad. You will be welcomed by 19 colleagues consisting of a property manager, property administrators, maintenance technicians, assistant administrators, and building wardens. About the Role As a technical property manager, your focus will be on the well-being and long-term sustainability of properties, and your building technology knowledge will be a welcome contribution to Karlstad's management. You will be responsible for ensuring that our portfolio is maintained and developed cost-effectively and with quality operations. In your role, you will execute multiple projects in our portfolio, with an emphasis on maintenance. Larger projects are handled by project managers in our central project department. An important part of the role will be to assess, from your holistic perspective, which measures will provide the greatest benefit in reaching our business goals. As a technical property manager, you will work closely with colleagues in the management team and our central project department – we work as a team and not only manage, we develop! Examples of work tasks: · Damage handling, planning and managing minor projects · Plan and manage minor projects within operations, maintenance, and renovation. · Participate in procurement of framework agreements · Be an active part of Willhem Karlstad's maintenance and business planning · Drive insurance matters in connection with damages · Ensure regulatory requirements are met, plan and budget for measures · Support and develop building wardens in daily work. · Contact person with our tenants in ongoing projects · Work with digital property management systems Your Profile We are looking for you with relevant post-secondary education in, for example, project management, building technology, or property management, or equivalent work experience. To succeed in this role, we see that you have several years of work experience that has given you knowledge of managing minor projects and handling damages with associated insurance matters. You have good building technology knowledge and the structure required to manage multiple property projects and handle procurement. Furthermore, you have an understanding of the whole property management picture, which helps you prioritize and make the best decisions based on circumstances. The role also requires you to have a driver's license.
