Information about the position Army Headquarters is its own organizational unit within the Swedish Armed Forces where the Technology and Maintenance Office for Ground Equipment (TVK Mark) is included as a department in the Procurement Unit. TVK Mark is responsible for material maintenance, material utilization, and material maintenance economy within the Swedish Armed Forces, as well as ensuring that material is maintained in accordance with system objectives. The Bandvagn Detail consists of eight employees stationed in Boden, Enköping, and Östersund and is part of the Boden/Umeå section within Army Headquarters, where together we are approximately 25 employees with broad technical expertise and operations at several locations in the country. The position offers varied work tasks with independent responsibility and requires both autonomy and good collaboration skills. You work closely with colleagues within the Bandvagn Detail and in cooperation with other system details, units, and external actors. Work tasks As Technical Design Lead Bandvagn (TDL BV) you work to ensure that the Swedish Armed Forces' Bandvagn systems (Bv 206, 208, 309, and 410 with variants) have the correct technical configuration throughout their entire service life. In this role you participate in decisions regarding maintenance measures and contribute to the systems being developed and managed in a safe and efficient manner. Primary work tasks: Lead the development of system safety approvals for decisions on use. Lead in the development of Technical Orders (TO), including formulation, requirement specification, quality assurance, review procedures, and coordinate follow-up of TO. Participate in requirement specification work for material development, procurement, and handover to the Armed Forces. Contribute to user and maintenance meetings. Support the Material System Manager (MSL) and Technical System Manager (TSL) as an expert on systematic change management. Support in system safety matters and technical design questions. Support before and during handover of design responsibility between FMV and the Armed Forces. Support in developing analysis materials from our support systems PRIO, LIFT, and others. Qualifications Academic degree or other education/experience that the employer deems relevant. Good ability to understand and express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English. Good ability to work with PCs, especially Microsoft Office applications. Experience from Armed Forces work within logistics, primarily technical service. Type B driver's license. Meritorious Technical education and experience with ground material within the Armed Forces. Experience with the Armed Forces' support systems LIFT and PRIO (SAP). Experience with system safety work. Knowledge of Armed Forces material supply and material processes. Previous experience working with planning and requirement specification across multiple time horizons.
