The Data Center consists of a team of IT technicians, a systems manager, and Technical Architects. We are responsible for the Prison and Probation Service's server solutions, virtualization, and related systems. The Prison and Probation Service is undergoing rapid expansion, and we need to plan for an environment that meets both today's and tomorrow's requirements. The team works together to ensure that the authority has modern, user-friendly, and secure solutions that facilitate daily work in our operations. Job Description We are now seeking a new colleague for our server team in storage. We are looking for you – a skilled and dedicated storage technician with the ambition to develop so that you can support and maintain our servers and related support systems. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring that the storage environment functions correctly and efficiently. You will work closely with other team members and external partners to solve technical problems and implement improvements in the system. Qualifications We are looking for someone who plans, organizes, and prioritizes work based on complex issues. You find approaches and solutions in an efficient way that leads to achieving set goals. Furthermore, you collaborate well with others, listen, and solve complicated problems in a constructive manner. We are looking for you who have: • Academic education preferably in systems science, computer science, or alternatively other education combined with experience that the Prison and Probation Service deems relevant • Experience with storage systems, for example NetApp, in large environments • Knowledge of file permissions in Microsoft environments • Work with in-depth troubleshooting of software and hardware • Knowledge of security-related issues in storage and backup • Knowledge of different storage protocols • Write and maintain technical documentation • Documented knowledge in storage systems • Good knowledge of VMware products • Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English It is also meriting to have: • Education in specific/defined IT infrastructure areas, such as product training applicable to the position • Experience with Microsoft server platform • Experience with Enterprise IT environments • Experience with object storage • Experience with process-driven work (ITIL) • Experience with Linux server environments • Knowledge of networking and communication technology Other Information The Swedish Prison and Probation Service has chosen to remove the personal letter requirement and replaced it with selection questions relevant to the position.
