About the role As a Technical Business Developer, you'll have a clear mission: find, initiate, and develop new business and new customers. You will actively work the market, identify new applications and business opportunities, and build relationships with the right people at potential customers. Once an opportunity is identified, you'll take on a coordinating role in the commercial process. You're the one who sees the customer's needs, the technical opportunity, and the business potential. To turn the business into actual success, there are competent support functions that you'll involve in the sales process through to order. You'll work closely with the technology and sales organization in Hallstahammar and also collaborate with colleagues in other group locations, including Poland and Germany. The role includes customer management and new customer sales to the Nordic manufacturing industry, business development, RFQ and quotation processes, and coordination of customer requirements and prototype development. Who are we looking for? We're looking for you with experience in B2B sales, business development, or customer-facing work in the manufacturing or technical industry. You understand the industry and its business. Experience and networks within Swedish and Nordic manufacturing industry are particularly interesting. You need a solid technical foundation. Perhaps you're an engineer in mechanical, mechanical, or materials engineering, or you've built equivalent understanding through many years working close to technical products and industrial customers. For us, the combination is more important than the exact degree: you need to both understand the technology and want to do business with it. As a person, you're outgoing, curious, and self-driven. You enjoy creating new contacts, opening doors, and taking initiative. You have a natural business sense and the ability to see opportunities even outside obvious customer segments. The role is based in Hallstahammar and involves travel, primarily within the Nordic region and the Baltics. As a guideline, travel is estimated at around eight days per month.
