We are now seeking a Technical Coordinator specializing in sound, lighting, and stage for the Culture School of Upplands-Bro. With us, you'll have a varied role where you're responsible for technical coordination at concerts, performances, conferences, political meetings, and other events. At the same time, you'll become an important part of the Culture School's team and contribute your expertise to the entire Culture and Leisure Office's activities. We're looking for someone who enjoys switching between practical technical work, planning, and coordination. One day you'll program lighting for a major concert; the next day you'll help an external organizer plan a performance or review the sound system in a sports hall. You take responsibility, solve problems, and create good conditions for others to succeed. Your responsibilities include Managing sound, lighting, and video technology at concerts, performances, conferences, meetings, and other events. Planning and executing rigging, technical preparations, event execution, and de-rigging. Coordinating technical resources and liaising with internal departments, external organizers, and vendors. Maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, and developing the municipality's stage and event technology. Planning purchases and investments in the technical field. Administering bookings and contributing to well-organized planning of the municipality's stages and technical resources. Providing technical support to the Culture and Leisure Office's activities, including reviewing and maintaining sound and other equipment in municipal facilities. Participating in the municipality's major events and providing technical expertise as needed. We're looking for someone who Has relevant education in sound, lighting, stage, or event technology, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Has experience working with professional sound, lighting, and video technology. Has good knowledge of digital audio and lighting consoles and modern stage technology. Has experience planning and executing events or stage productions. Has experience servicing, maintaining, and performing basic troubleshooting on technical equipment. Is comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for the entire process from planning to execution. Has good administrative skills and enjoys coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously. Holds a Class B driver's license. It is a merit if you have experience with AV technology, projection and video technology, and knowledge of electrical systems, networks, or other technical infrastructure related to event operations. About the position This is a full-time role. Evening and weekend work occurs in connection with concerts, performances, and events. A trial employment period may be applied. Start date by agreement.
