At our client, you will be part of a team working with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), where technical information specialists and logistics engineers together ensure that products and systems can be used, maintained, and upkept in a safe and efficient manner. About the Assignment As a Technical Information Specialist, you are responsible for creating, structuring, updating, and ensuring quality of technical documentation for complex products and systems. The documentation is used by technicians, users, and maintenance organizations and is an important part of the product's lifecycle. You will work with collecting, processing, and registering technical information in various systems and tools. The role involves close collaboration with designers, systems engineers, logistics engineers, and other technical specialists to ensure that information is accurate, user-friendly, and traceable. As part of the ILS operation, you will also contribute to simpler logistics analyses and support the team in various ILS-related activities. Responsibilities Create, structure, and update technical documentation for products and systems. Process technical materials and translate them into clear and user-adapted information. Ensure quality, structure, and traceability in technical documentation. Register and manage technical and logistics information in Excel and other systems. Collaborate with multiple technical disciplines to collect and ensure quality of information. Support ILS work through simpler analyses and information management. About You You have a strong interest in technology and enjoy working in a structured manner with information, data, and documentation. You have the ability to understand technical contexts and translate complex information into clear and useful content. You are meticulous, analytical, and quality-conscious, and thrive in a role where structure and collaboration are crucial for results. Competency Requirements Level 2 At least 1-3 years of experience in technical information, technical documentation, ILS, or related field. Relevant technical education or equivalent work experience. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Good experience working in Excel and other digital information systems. Level 3 At least 3-7 years of experience in technical information, technical documentation, ILS, or related field. Documented experience of independently creating and ensuring quality of technical documentation. Good understanding of technical systems and complex information management. Experience collaborating with multiple technical disciplines in development or maintenance projects. Meritorious Knowledge of marine systems, ships, or naval vessels. Experience with S1000D. Experience with XML-based information management. Experience with support systems within the ILS field. Experience from the defense industry, Swedish Armed Forces, or other operations with complex technical systems. This position is subject to security vetting, which may include requirements for Swedish citizenship.
