We are now seeking two technicians for varied and practical work where environment, safety, service, and technology are central. About the Role At the transfer station, we receive and handle waste from Renova's operations and other actors within our operational area. As a technician, you will play an important role in the daily operations and ongoing development work. Your main task is to work with your colleagues to manage the operations of the transfer station and parts of Renova's outdoor areas on Holmen. The work shall be carried out efficiently, profitably, and environmentally responsibly, in accordance with the facility's permits, objectives, routines, and other governing documents. The role involves many contacts with the operations and people on Holmen. Good customer service and clear focus on the customer are therefore important parts of the work. Through good service and collaboration, you contribute to well-functioning relationships and safe and efficient waste management. On-call duty is included in the position. Your Main Responsibilities The role includes, among other things: receiving and emptying incoming waste containers weighing and recording different waste fractions ordering transport of outgoing material performing daily rounds and managing operations and basic maintenance of technical equipment and machinery conducting daily inspections of the wash hall and its treatment plant performing daily rounds of Renova's outdoor areas on Holmen according to established protocols cleaning, monitoring, snow removal, and other maintenance of surfaces on and adjacent to Renova's area on Holmen maintaining order and cleanliness within the area working in accordance with applicable safety regulations, permits, and operational procedures actively contributing to the development of the transfer station's operations and ongoing improvement work. Other Possible Tasks As needed, you may also: work as a driver in a two-person operated vehicle assist in our container storage operate trucks and other available machinery operate wheel loaders perform sampling, for example of outgoing water Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who is responsible, service-oriented, and solution-focused. You enjoy practical and varied work where tasks can shift according to operational needs. You work in a structured manner, follow procedures, and have a clear focus on safety and environment. Since the role involves collaboration and many contact points, you need to work well with both colleagues and others operating in Renova's area on Holmen. You take own initiatives, see what needs to be done, and want to contribute to developing a completely new operation. The work is performed both indoors and outdoors and can at times be physically demanding. You therefore need to be comfortable with practical work in varying weather conditions. Qualifications We expect you to have: Category B driving license good ability to understand and follow instructions, safety regulations, and operational procedures basic computer skills good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is advantageous if you have: experience in waste management, recycling, operations, facility management, or similar work forklift certification training or experience in wheel loader operation experience with technical equipment, machinery, treatment plants, or sampling experience in improvement work.
