About the Role
As a technician at OpenUp, you will, among other things:
Work with installation and assembly of primarily swing and sliding door automation systems.
Perform troubleshooting as well as ongoing service and maintenance work.
Work with products and systems that combine mechanics, electrical systems, automation, and software.
Handle tasks related to other products in OpenUp's broad product portfolio.
Document and report completed work in the company's systems.
Plan and structure your work days based on current assignments.
The work is varied and combines independent assignments with collaboration with colleagues. You will operate from home with a service vehicle and work primarily with local assignments in and around Gothenburg, but travel to other locations occurs.
The position involves some overnight stays. During periods with extensive travel, this could mean approximately 4–6 travel days per month, but this is not a role where you regularly stay away for entire work weeks. More common are occasional overnight stays in connection with various assignments.
Employment Terms
Full-time, starting immediately or by agreement.

The first few months involve training with a more experienced colleague.

Meritorious are experience in installation, electrical work, automation, mechanics, vehicle mechanics, service, assembly, or other technically oriented activities. If you have worked practically with tools and are accustomed to solving technical problems, we see that as a great advantage.
Requirements
Valid driver's license (category B).
Swedish in speech and writing.
You must be able to travel for work and be comfortable with overnight stays as needed.
You must have the right to work in Sweden.
