About the Position
We are now seeking a technician/vehicle fitter for Prestec. In this role, you will work with the entire chain from customer order to finished vehicle, with a focus on technical modifications based on customer needs. This includes assembly of high-pressure units and related equipment, installation of warning and strobe lights, cabling and control systems, as well as work with hydraulics and vehicle electrical systems (12/24 V). Troubleshooting and repair are also part of the role.
The work is performed in our workshop in Järfälla and takes place in a small team where you take great responsibility while working closely with experienced colleagues. Since solutions vary based on customer needs, you need to be practical, solution-oriented, and comfortable with technical problem-solving.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, mechanics, and problem-solving. You are responsible, organized, and enjoy working practically. As a person, you are humble, have a drive to develop, and enjoy working together with others.
We believe you have:
Experience with assembly
Good technical understanding and practical skills
Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
Driver's license (Class B)
Good Swedish in speech and writing
If you have experience with vehicle modifications, bodywork, hydraulics, troubleshooting, or vehicle and machinery service, this is a merit, but we place great emphasis on your personal qualities. For us, the right attitude, commitment, and desire to develop are at least as important as previous experience. Since you will have contact with customers, we also value that you are service-oriented and enjoy meeting people.
