We're looking for a technician to join our workshop team in Järfälla. You don't need to know everything from the start—what matters most is that you're handy, curious, and willing to learn the trade.
About the job
At Prestec, we build and customize spool vehicles and other specialized vehicles. As a technician, you'll work through the entire process, from start to finished solution.
You'll get the opportunity to:
Assemble high-pressure units and other equipment on vehicles
Assemble hoses, pumps, and mechanical components
Run cables, install lighting and control systems
Perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs
The work is hands-on and varied because the vehicles are customized to meet different customer needs. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues and gradually take on greater responsibility.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone with practical work experience. For example, you might have worked in a workshop, assembly, production, technical installation, or machinery service. The role could also be a good fit if you're early in your career following a practical vocational education.
You don't need previous experience with spool vehicles or specialized vehicles. Experience with vehicle electrical systems, hydraulics, or high-pressure equipment is a plus, but not required.
To succeed in this role, you need to:
Be hands-on and willing to learn
Work carefully and take responsibility
Enjoy collaborating and helping out where needed
Have a valid driver's license (category B)
Be able to understand instructions and communicate in Swedish
