Technical Support Engineer for Linux and Development Environments

About the Role As a Technical Support Engineer, you will work with developing, deploying, and maintaining development environments and associated infrastructure. You'll work in technically advanced environments with Linux, virtualization, and KVM, contributing to creating the best possible conditions for the development team. You'll become part of a department that delivers command and control systems to both Swedish and international defense customers, collaborating closely with colleagues in various roles. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or a related field, or equivalent technical background. You have approximately 1-2 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge in deploying and maintaining development environments and infrastructure. You have solid knowledge of Linux, virtualization, and KVM, and communicate fluently in Swedish and English in both speech and writing. It's a merit if you have experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or CVS, scripting in Bash or Python, automated build pipelines such as CI/CD, Jenkins, or GitLab, and interest in the aviation domain. As a person, you are driven, communicative, and responsible with strong collaboration skills.
