We are now seeking a Technical Engineering Manager to lead the development of technologies and manufacturing processes within our plastics/process industrial unit in Mullsjö.

The goal of your and the engineering department's work is to ensure that technical solutions meet business objectives, comply with internal and external standards, and support the company's strategic goals in innovation, quality, and operational efficiency.
You will lead and develop a team of engineers and specialists - a total of 16 employees - and work closely with production, quality, and project teams to ensure competitive and robust processes.
A selection of your responsibilities
Lead and drive technical development projects related to new products, processes, and equipment.
Ensure that research and design methods meet established scientific and technical standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, supply chain, quality, and sales, to align technical development with business needs.
Support the development of business plans and budgets for product and process development initiatives.
Analyze results from quality and safety tests to ensure compliance with internal specifications and external regulations.
Monitor development outcomes to ensure that technical, functional, cost, and time objectives are achieved.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with substantial experience from technical leadership roles in process industry or other manufacturing industries with high demands on process control and availability. You have documented experience in product and process development and can provide clear examples of what has been achieved through the technology and development projects you have been responsible for in previous roles.
We believe a university degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or process engineering is a good foundation. Experience from an international business environment is a merit.
Further, you need to:
Have a strong ability to drive technical innovation and apply engineering principles to solve complex challenges.
Be a good project manager, which means you plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Have good knowledge of data analysis, testing methodologies, and performance evaluation.
Have extensive experience in developing and presenting business cases and technical concepts, tailored to the target audience.
Understanding of product requirements and certification processes within the plastics and process industries.
Fluently speak and write both Swedish and English.
