We are seeking a Tech Lead & Platform Architect for Nordic Commercial Property (NCP) Do you want to set the technical direction for the next generation of commercial real estate platform – in a senior team where AI, modern cloud solutions, and product development are at the center? Nordic Commercial Property (NCP) is the Nordic region's leading marketplace for commercial real estate. We operate and develop three marketplaces: Objektvision in Sweden, Toimitilat Kauppalehti and Toimitilat.fi in Finland. Now we are building the platform of the future from the ground up using AI, event-driven systems, and a modern tech stack. You will be instrumental in establishing our One Common Platform strategy, where our marketplaces are progressively consolidated into a shared technical platform. AI and modern product development are strategically important areas for the group, and you will be a central part of our investment in the future of digital marketplaces in Europe. In this role, you are responsible for the technical direction of our platform and will be one of the driving forces behind the One Common Platform. You work closely with the CTO and have significant influence over architecture, technology choices, and how the platform evolves long-term. This is a role for someone who wants to solve complex technical problems. The challenge involves consolidating multiple established products into a shared platform while the business continues to grow. Here you can combine strategic architectural decisions with hands-on development and modern AI technology. This is a hybrid role where you combine strategy, architecture, and hands-on development: Define architectural principles, technical standards, and long-term technology choices. Work hands-on in development (approximately 60–70%), particularly in mission-critical parts of the platform. Coach and support the team in design decisions, implementation, and technical quality. Drive technical initiatives together with product, design, and development. Work closely with the CTO and play a key role in the technical transformation toward our One Common Platform. Responsibilities AI and Modern Platform Solutions Design and implement AI-driven workflows. Use modern AI techniques to improve search, matching, and user experience on our marketplaces. Ensure that AI-related development and functionality is integrated in a stable, scalable, and cost-effective manner. Architecture and Technical Direction Ensure a robust and future-proof architecture in Azure and Vercel. Design APIs, integration flows, and data models for modern product platforms. Drive technical decisions regarding performance, scalability, and security. Contribute to the development of event-driven and cloud-based systems. Technical Leadership Coach and support developers in modern development methods and architectural patterns. Contribute to a pragmatic, learning-oriented, and quality-driven engineering culture. Be a technical role model in code quality, structure, and best practices. Create clarity around technical guidelines and long-term technology choices. About You We believe you are a senior engineer who thrives on combining strategic technology decisions with hands-on development. You enjoy building teams as much as systems and are motivated by solving complex technical challenges. To succeed in this role, we believe you have: Several years of experience as a senior developer, Tech Lead, or systems architect. Solid experience with .NET, C#, Azure, and modern web solutions. Experience with React, Next.js, and modern development workflows such as Git, Docker, and CI/CD. Good understanding of distributed systems, API design, and scalable architecture. Experience using AI in product development or software development. If you have also worked with LLMs, RAG, or vector search, that is a plus. We also believe you are a confident technical leader who enjoys collaborating, making decisions, and creating structure without losing momentum or pragmatism. You are curious, communicative, and motivated by building products that create real value for users.
