We're partnering with a leading HealthTech company in Gothenburg that develops digital solutions for the future of connected healthcare. We're now looking for a Tech Lead in Identity & Access Management who wants to combine senior system development with long-term responsibility for identity, security, and access management. This is a role for someone who wants to be hands-on in development while also owning the technical direction within IAM. You'll have significant influence over architecture, integrations, and how this area evolves over time. About Us Our client develops a digital platform that enables patient care and follow-up outside traditional hospital environments. The platform operates in a regulated environment where security, availability, and correct access to information are critical. The company is in a growth phase where more users, organizations, and external systems need to be connected securely and scalably. This makes identity and access management a central part of ongoing product development. The organization is characterized by short decision paths, high pace, and significant personal responsibility. The Role As Tech Lead IAM, you'll have overall responsibility for identity, authentication, user lifecycles, and authorization management in the platform. The role is clearly development-focused. You'll develop services, APIs, and integrations within the IAM area, with particular focus on external Identity Providers and other identity and directory services. You'll work with standards like OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML2, as well as solutions for roles, permissions, and access. Alongside development, you'll drive architectural decisions and the long-term technical direction for the area. You'll serve as a technical sounding board for other developers and work closely with product, security, and operations to turn requirements into working solutions. This isn't a role where all requirements are predefined. You need to understand the need, structure the problem, and drive the work from technical decisions to implementation. The Team You'll be part of a team working on central parts of the platform and collaborating closely with development, DevOps, product, and technical architecture. Since IAM touches large parts of the product, you'll have many contact points and become an important technical reference in the area, while also being part of daily development. The approach is pragmatic and autonomous with short decision paths and significant room to influence. You're expected to take responsibility for your area while also collaborating closely with other parts of the organization to drive technology forward. Qualifications Must Have Solid experience with backend or platform development, for example in .NET or Java Practical experience developing IAM solutions in production environments Experience with Identity Providers and federated identity solutions Deep understanding of OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML2 Experience with IAM architecture, permission models, and technical decisions Good understanding of security, traceability, and operational reliability Ability to independently drive technical issues from requirement to implementation Good communication skills and ability to explain complex technical issues Nice to Have Experience with SCIM, provisioning, and de-provisioning Experience with RBAC, ABAC, or other authorization models Experience with Curity, Keycloak, or equivalent IAM platforms Experience with Swedish identity solutions in healthcare or public sector, such as SITHS and HSA Experience with enterprise-IdP, directory services, or Swedish eID solutions Experience from HealthTech, MedTech, or other regulated operations Experience with CI/CD, observability, and production operations of identity services Benefits You'll get long-term responsibility for an area central to the product's continued development, with the opportunity to combine hands-on development with technical leadership and influence both architecture and technical decisions.
