The Department of Individuals and Family Care is in an exciting phase where operations are changing and expanding to meet the needs of residents. About the Operations Based on a changed societal perspective and increased needs among youth with norm-breaking behavior, IFO has consolidated its units that work with this target group—young people with norm-breaking behavior, criminality, and harmful use of alcohol or drugs—under one umbrella that we call Youth Center. The units within Youth Center form a chain from preventive and outreach work to investigation, assessment, and treatment interventions at various levels. As an employee in one of Youth Center's units, you can expect close and daily collaboration with several different professional roles where you as an employee become an important part of the chain. Youth Center's focus is to offer accessible, equitable, and cohesive support for the target group. We are now seeking a team leader for our MST team, which is a team that works with high-intensity outpatient treatment. MST addresses families with youth who have behavioral problems such as criminality, substance abuse, school problems, and/or aggression. MST is an evidence-based and intensive treatment program that focuses treatment on the environment where the youth is located—their home and family, school and its staff, the local area, and peers. Responsibilities We are looking for you to lead an MST team in the role of team leader. As an MST team leader, you are responsible for a treatment team with four MST therapists. You receive and distribute assignments regarding MST interventions, inform families and collaboration partners both internally and externally about the intervention. You supervise MST therapists weekly both in writing and verbally. As team leader, you are responsible for continuously following up, evaluating, and quality assuring MST work. You are active support for the therapists in the team in both family work and systemic work. Furthermore, you work on continuously developing the therapists' and your own competence based on MST's guidelines. You will receive regular and substantial support from MST's external consultant regarding the team's and your development plans as well as quality assurance. You will participate in trainings that are continuously arranged at the national level. You will also complete MST training if you do not already have that competence. For more information, visit: MST Sverige. The MST intervention includes on-call duty as families have access to support in the evenings and provides support to therapists when they are on call. Your work as team leader is mainly during daytime hours, but you may need to be available to support therapists who work after office hours. You will be part of Youth Center's management team together with other managers. Qualifications For this position, we seek someone who has a degree in social work or another behavioral science university education that the employer deems equivalent. Expertise within the field of work with children and youth is a requirement. You should also have good knowledge of current legislation for the field of work and social services in the broader sense. Experience in supervising and leading groups and experience in psychosocial treatment work are merits. You should also have good knowledge in systems theory, solution-focused approaches, and an analytical approach. It is also desirable to have further education in the field, preferably systems theory education or other manual-based methods aimed at conducting qualified change work. We see that you are a flexible and responsible person with good collaboration skills who easily adapts your work methods based on changed conditions and new information. It is important that you have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. Consultation and training take place partly in English, and it is therefore also necessary to have good knowledge of English. A B driver's license and driving experience are requirements.
