Team Leader for Lumber Yard in Logistics in Rosersberg

Simplex is now seeking a team leader for one of our clients in building materials and logistics in Rosersberg. You will have an important role in daily operations and are responsible for ensuring that the team has the right conditions to work efficiently and safely.
About the Position
As a team leader, you are a central part of daily operations at the lumber yard. You plan and distribute work, support employees, and ensure that incoming and outgoing deliveries run smoothly.
The role is operational and you will work closely with the team in the facility. This may include helping with loading, unloading, order handling, and forklift operation while keeping the daily work coordinated.
You will also be an important contact between employees and management and help handle any issues and discrepancies that arise during the day.
Responsibilities
Plan and prioritize daily work at the lumber yard.
Distribute tasks within the team.
Support and guide employees throughout the workday.
Handle incoming and outgoing deliveries of building materials.
Ensure that materials are handled and placed correctly.
Work with loading and unloading.
Forklift operation and other operational warehouse work.
Ensure that work is performed safely and efficiently.
Handle problems and discrepancies in daily operations.
Follow up on order status, quality, and safety at the workplace.
Collaborate with management, drivers, customers, and other parts of the business.
Be a role model for the team by actively participating in operational work.
Experience from a lumber yard, building materials, warehouse, or logistics is a plus.

Qualifications
Previous experience from warehouse, logistics, lumber yard, or building materials.
Experience leading, coordinating, or supporting a team.
Forklift certification and practical forklift experience.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and make decisions in daily work.
Responsible and solution-oriented.
Unpretentious and engaged in operational work.
Understanding of quality, safety, and work environment.
Good Swedish in speaking and writing.
