We are now seeking an engaged and development-oriented team leader for the archive function at the Unit for Archives, Records and Administrative Services (ARF Unit). The ARF Unit is part of the Department for Personnel and Skills Supply and plays an important role in supporting the administration and schools in matters concerning information management, archives and public access. We work for modern, legally sound and efficient information management and a good public access structure. Approximately 20 employees work here, consisting of archivists, records managers, a lawyer, administrator/communicator, a records coordinator, an archive assistant and a custodian. The operations are led by a unit manager. Your role As team leader for the archive function, you have a key role in creating structure, momentum and quality in the archive function's work. The role is both operational and strategic where you are responsible for leading, coordinating and monitoring operations while driving improvements and development in pace with digitalization. You lead a team consisting of five archivists and one archive assistant. Together with the team leader for records management, a lawyer and a communications resource, you form an important part in developing the education administration's information management. In your role you are responsible for: leading, planning and coordinating daily work within the archive function. initiating, implementing and following up business planning and performance monitoring. driving development of work methods and processes within archives and information management. ensuring archive requirements in connection with implementation, management and termination of IT services. working with information appraisal, disposal and governing documents as well as maintaining and developing handling instructions. providing service, advice and support to the central administration, schools through site visits as well as other authorities and the public. contributing to training in information management for different target groups; participating in planning for the short and long term on what training is needed and, if necessary, conducting training and participating in information meetings. releasing public records and making confidentiality assessments. monitoring external developments and implementing changes in practice. Your competence and experience You who are applying have: a master's degree with at least 60 credits in archival science. several years of experience in strategic and operational work as an archivist in public operations. experience in digital information management, digitalization and business development. good ability to express yourself clearly and eloquently in speech and writing in Swedish. experience in conducting training within the archive field. It is advantageous for the position if you have: experience in a leading role in the field of information management, such as team leader, project leader, coordinator or similar. experience in setting archive requirements in connection with IT development. experience in conducting investigations of retention and disposal. experience in working with preservation and disposal of digital information. To succeed in the role of team leader for the archive function, you have the willingness and ability to coach others and promote good cooperation, both internally and externally. You have a pedagogical demeanor and a structured way of working as well as an ability to independently initiate and drive improvement work. You are communicative, innovative, proactive and driven in development work. You are flexible and have the ability to redirect work tasks based on changed priorities or changed conditions.
