Do you want to be part of our journey? Child and Student Health is a central part of Ängelholm's municipal schools. Our role is to promote children's and students' learning, development and health in collaboration with other staff in preschools, primary schools and upper secondary schools. The starting point is the preschool's/school's responsibility to create a good learning environment for all children and students. Student Health Medical Services, EMI, is a team within Child and Student Health consisting of 15 school nurses and one school physician. Collectively, Child and Student Health also includes school counselors, school psychologists, speech-language pathologists and special educators. We work with health promotion and prevention with a focus on health and goal achievement. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Are you ready to take on the role as team leader for school nurses and school physician? Do you want to lead and develop a team that makes a real difference for students' health? Student Health is now looking for an engaged, goal-oriented and confident person who wants to take on the assignment as team leader. We offer a flexible assignment with proximity to core operations while giving you the opportunity to be part of developing student health work. As team leader, you will be medically responsible for management and responsible for leading EMI in daily work as well as long-term development work. Personnel, financial and work environment matters are part of the assignment where you will conduct recruitments, hold employee meetings, work with salary setting and distribution of tasks within the team. Together with the school physician, you are responsible for developing procedures, adequate methods and forms of cooperation so that Child and Student Health's assignment can be fulfilled. Together with the school physician, you are also responsible for monitoring and evaluation of medical services so that they meet goal achievement and are of good quality. Part of your work time you will work yourself operatively as a school nurse. A prerequisite for thriving with the assignment is that you want to have a shared assignment, where the management role alternates with student-facing work. The Child and Student Health Manager will be your immediate supervisor. You will have close collaboration where you are expected to contribute to driving Child and Student Health in a way that meets requirements for quality, development and cost-effectiveness. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with solid knowledge of Child and Student Health's various professions, health promotion and prevention work, student health's medical services, and how conditions for development within and between professions are created and further developed. You; • are a registered nurse with specialist education as a district nurse or in health and medical care for children and youth or as a school nurse • have experience working as a school nurse • have experience with management assignments with personnel responsibility (desired but not required) • have experience in health and medical care administration • have very good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written We believe that the person who takes on this assignment has the ability to be attentive while not being afraid to make decisions.
