Main responsibilities If you want overall responsibility for one or more departments and to lead employees, the Team Lead Checkout role is perfect for you. Below you can see what it means to be a Team Lead at Hemköp: You are responsible for purchasing and sales, and for the department achieving our jointly set goals. You are responsible for ensuring customers have a good experience with us. The customer is at the heart of our business, and therefore daily customer contact is important for creating a positive store experience. Together with your employees, you must ensure profitability and make sure routines are followed as well as monitoring gross profit and sales. As a Team Lead, you have personnel responsibility. This includes ensuring that employees receive the right information, develop, and are satisfied, and that work in the store runs smoothly and well. You will also be part of the store's management team. The position is: Permanent full-time employment, probation applies. Start date: 2026-09-01 or by agreement. Working hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends. What we expect Being interested in food, good at driving sales, and enjoying working with people are prerequisites for the role. Below you can see what else is expected of you as a Team Lead at Hemköp. You should have knowledge of the products in your area of responsibility. You need to be familiar with basic financial metrics and have experience working in retail. As a Team Lead, your leadership is important. You need to be good at explaining routines, describing which goals the store should reach, and what challenges exist. It is important that you are comfortable with a fast pace. Equally important is that you can delegate work, both give and receive feedback, and that you are not afraid to drive through changes. The position requires that you have previously had personnel responsibility for a larger group.
