Job Description There is now an expanded initiative in the camera surveillance area as part of preventing and investigating crimes and, in turn, increasing safety in society. In this camera initiative, our camera technical systems groups within the Police IT Department play an important role. The group has overall responsibility for the national camera platform in terms of operations/maintenance and further development. Our workplace is located on Kungsholmen in Stockholm, and you have the opportunity to work from home two days a week when work permits. You will be part of and lead a team consisting of technical specialists where you together have overall responsibility, which includes daily operations, management/support, and further development of these systems. The work tasks are varied and may include: Leading various assignments where you take overall responsibility for delivery in both short and long projects within the camera area Act as close support and an extension of the group manager/product owner in daily work Facilitate workshops and develop decision-making materials Participate in the agile working method and actively contribute to developing the team's methods and ways of working Being the hub in a role with many contact points – from IT architects and technical specialists to police operations and external suppliers The group works closely with several different stakeholders, internally with other competency groups within the IT Department, or other camera groups for example within the National Operations Division or within police regions. Externally, collaboration takes place mainly with suppliers. Travel, both domestic and international, may occur in this position. A major focus is ensuring that the team has the best possible conditions to deliver, where you drive the work of continuous improvements. Qualifications This is an opportunity for you if you have: Relevant post-secondary education in IT, preferably with a technical focus. Alternatively, that you have equivalent acquired experience that the Police Authority can assess as equivalent At least 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience (in the recent past), for example in a role as IT team lead, IT task lead/IT project lead, product owner, or similar Good professional experience leading teams, structured and coordinated within operations, management/support. Good professional experience working according to ITIL or similar methodology in IT operations You must have very good command of Swedish in speech and writing, and good command of English in speech and writing.
