About the position
TGW delivers high-tech automation solutions for intralogistics. As Team Leader, you will be part of the launch of TGW's latest project in Sweden: ICA's new, fully automated cold storage warehouse in Hacksta, Västerås, which will be commissioned in February 2026. The warehouse covers approximately 23,000 square meters and includes, among other things, a 30-meter-high automated pallet storage system with dynamic shuttle technology, fully automated packing stations, and energy-efficient conveyors for pallets, cartons, and packages – all designed to operate at temperatures down to -25°C.

Responsibilities
In your role as Team Leader, you will among other things:
Lead and coach the resident engineering team on-site
Ensure that automation operates with high efficiency
Perform reporting, monitor performance, and participate in client meetings
Conduct process reviews and follow up on improvement measures
Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance of automated equipment
Handle escalations according to TGW procedures
Be a people-minded leader with strong communication skills in Swedish and English
Understand how production workflows function and be able to estimate the time required for various tasks
We are looking for someone who
Has a technical education (mandatory)
Has experience with operational engineering work in similar environments
Has experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
Has versatile technical experience (automation, production, etc.)
Has knowledge of Siemens S7, Profibus, CAN bus, Profinet, and ASI Bus
Has strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems
Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English
Is flexible with shift work: Monday–Friday 06:00–22:00, and one day on the weekend (Saturday 06:00–14:00 or Sunday 14:00–22:00)
It is advantageous if you have:
Experience in intralogistics or automated warehouse solutions
Experience working with complex automation or control systems
Previous experience coaching and training technicians
